Happy Saturday!

Welcome to my blog and our the first Creations by AR (Adela Rossol) Customer Blog Hop. I hope you are ready for a fun hop full of inspiring projects and prizes. I am stop #5 and there is a total of 8 stops (see below for complete list). Our theme for this hop is blue and yellow. I am so excited to see all the wonderful creations everyone made for the Blog Hop. This is so much fun. Well as usually, I waited until the last minute to work on my project, but I was excited to try the Tissue Pot. I love the blue and yellow theme, but found that I really don't have that much paper with blues and yellows. So if you check out my paper real close, you will see that it says "June" inside the flowers. It is a very old paper that I have probably had for over 10 years. Anyway, Adela made the template so easy to cut out in svg format with my cricut and the instructions made it so easy to put together. I used my spellbinders shapeabilities - Parisian Accents for the border around the top of the box. The large yellow flower on top is inked with blue distress ink and looks so very pretty. Thanks for stopping by!

Adela’s templates come in PDF and cut files formats. There are freebies offered on the site, plus some templates are currently on sale. Two new templates were released last week. Here is the link to Adela store: http://www.creationsbyar.com/
What would a Blog Hop be without prizes? One random commenter from each blog will win a template of their choice from Creations by AR. Comments will close at midnight (Eastern Time) on Monday, August 6 and the winners will be posted in the afternoon on Tuesday, August 7.

If you would like to see a couple of other projects I made with Adela's templates some time ago, just check out my blog.  I especially love the Haute Tote!

  1. Teresa,
The border around the top looks so pretty and coordinates very nicely with the paper you chose. The sponged flower is the perfect finishing touch.

  3. The inking on the edge of your paper flower is subtle, but very effective. Not sure I would have thought to do it, but it sure adds to it. Like you, Adela's haute tote is one of my favorite templates too (I don't own it yet, but think I will buy it next).
